Does anyone know if these tablets allow profiles for different users so i can share it?

I would pay a bit more and get the redmi pad to be honest.

I have this tablet. Its superb. OS is clean and tidy, prefer it to my Samsung. Screen is really good and I don't have any issues with viewing angles. It's doesn't feel slow at all, nice and snappy. Honestly can't fault it. I bought mine from and ebay user brand new for £125.

One person had it for a week & returned it due to the poor viewing angles hotukdeals.com/com…385 - everybody's preferences, expectations & what they are used to or compare it with are different I guess.

Cracking bit of kit - speedy, little bloatware and it updated to Android 13 within three days. Battery life is very good and I have had no problems with viewing angles.

I have this and can say its very good for the money. If you want a device to watch movies and a bit of browsing/emails, its great. The official case you can buy is very good, albeit the magnets/stand arent as good as some others i have used.

Its had regular monthly updates so far.

This or the s6 lite 2022? Thanks
    npinn001's avatar
IMO the S6 lite offers a bit more. Pen, better (but more expensive) case option. Samsung updates

Bought this from same seller a couple of weeks ago for £170. I'm pleased with it. Seems performant, OS is not as bloated as I thought it could be, thin and light

Is google play store on this?
    Crossbow's avatar
    Yes
The only Android tablets that don't have it by default are those made by Huawei after 2019/20, & most Chinese-branded ones sourced directly from the Far East (unless the store selling it have manually added it).

Can someone give opinion which one to buy? No heavy gaming.
    1. This, Oppo air
    2. Teclast T50
    3. Redmi pad 4GB
Or would pay more for an Xiaomi Pad 5?
    win26's avatar
If you're a light user, this or the Redmi is plenty good enough. The Redmi is faster with 90hz display. Don't know much about the Teclast. The Pad 6 is coming out soon, not sure how much tho.

    Postage £15.99?

Which country are you in? It's free standard delivery within the UK, or +£4.95 via express/next day. (edited)

Really not sure I understand the importance of viewing angles on a tablet... Unless you have one arm significantly shorter than the other, or you watch it docked continually.

Seems great value, versus a Fire tab even.
    Crossbow's avatar
True, some people may be sharing with others, so the person/s not looking straight on could notice a colour shift, which might spoil their experience.
They must have used a very low-quality IPS? As IPS generally have much better viewing angles than standard TFT/TN screens.
The people using / reviewing them who are noticing this more than others probably own or seen better quality screens.

This or the honor pad 8 with 12" screen or samsung a8 don't know much about tablets it's for the wife so for browsing and light gaming and netflix
    win26's avatar
Hi. Go for the Honor pad 8, the best value streaming device on the market atm.
The A8 is very old, and the screen isn't that good. (edited)

Cheap Chinese tablets always have slow CPU and bad screen viewing angles. Don't get fooled by 2k resolution and big RAM (edited)

    It's octa-core though!

The Cpu is not to bad for this type of device. Unless you are paying Apple prices screens will never be the best.
  16. jimbo001's avatar
Is this better than the s6 lite 2022? Thanks

    Yes.

Read comments about this device and in the long run it doesn't look as good as other options in my opinion. Does anyone have any advice on the redmi pad or the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite?
