Or buy a Matt black cover and glue clear flexipipe running up and down in channel formation, connect the pump and hey presto free solar heating for the water

I would love one of these but my garden is sloped and I have limited space on the part which is flat.
Anyone got any tips about how strong decking would need to be to hold one of these?

Water weighs 1kg per litre by definition.
    So 13 tonnes plus people.

My sister has a pool like this and bought a huge dome gazebo (think it was £200ish) to go round/over the pool. It helps to keep leaves etc from falling in but also creates a bit of warmth which helps a little.

Can it make the water hot?

No its not a hot tub

I had a solid teak decking supporting a 10ft / 3m pool. 14ft would be twice as heavy, but on twice the area, so same weight per sqm.

A 14ft pool filled up to 70cm weighs 9.7 tonnes. It would take you 11 hours to fill at 15l/minutes.

A beefy filter pump - say 800 gallons/h - would do well. Sadly Aldi doesn't specify the power of the filter pump. (edited)
