A lot of places have it for £50 atm and there are some codes available. For example with Go Outdoors the total with delivery is £48.50 and they have more colours available. Heat added as this deal made me check it.

Beware that the Osprey bags are very prone to PU coating delamination. Once it happens your bag basically has to go in the bin and unlike in the USA, Osprey in Europe will not replace your bag when it happens.

Had my Talon 33 for 8 years before this happened and it was a great bag, but I'll be going with another brand for my next one.

I’ve had the Talon 22 pack for years and it’s took a pounding. Brilliant quality. (edited)

Hot! I'm currently on a 3 day fast packing trip round the Cornish coast with this Osprey 11, and can't rate it highly enough. Weight evenly distributed on the hips, 2L separated water bladder space, pole holders, plenty of pockets and exterior straps for stashing a light layer. It's taken a battering the last few years but you'd never know!

It ain't waterproof, so worth investing some of the money saved with the rain cover.

Blacks and GoOutdoors are now same company? With bluelight card getting it at £47.43 including ridiculous postage charge. (edited)

Had my talon 22 for over 10 years. It's been all over the world, and on endless day trips. It's not got so much as a loose stitch. It's incredible how it's lasted, and continues to.

£50 is a real real good price for this. I paid £100 and thought that was a deal

Average price is £90...gone for it but how does it compare to Camelbak? Had a cheap Animal bag for past 15 years, zips all fell apart this year. (edited)

Good spot. I wonder if a revised model is on the horizon then.

my tweens are in Scouts and Cubs and needed a day bag that would be comfortable for them, this is ideal, I have a talon 22 and farpoint 40, faultless bags, these will be handy for day trips for the family as well (carrying the odds and ends a simple trip needs )

How would this compare to an osprey nebula? Seems quite a bit smaller despite being similar in dimensions
    Allan_of_Somerset's avatar
Nebula looks like a school bag, waist support is not there, just a strap, really different style

Would this be any good for running or am I better off getting a dedicated hydration backpack?
    J1989Ex's avatar
I have this exact bag and run with it fine. The only slightly annoying thing which you'd probably get running with any bag, is it tends to drag the back of your tshirt up as you're running. Other than that, absolutely great

Top quality brand, good price, HOT!

Better spending £50 once & having a bag that'll last you a decade, than £25 on a Trespass you'll get 3 years out of if you're lucky.
