Be warned don’t use this to charge your Mac laptop using the MagSafe cable. I recently bought this and the very first day i used this to charge my laptop it blew it had smoke coming out. Took it to apple and they confirmed a capacitor blew on it and to fix my 14 inch MacBook Pro M1 is over £700!!

Took it up with Anker they asked for me to send my battery pack back to them which I did and was told they will reimburse the cost to fix the laptop once they have the unit. Now they saying that it’s going over to Hong Kong at the factory for them to see what happened and left me hanging with nothing. Very disappointed that they neglected to tell me the full process leading me to believe once they have the faulty unit they will pay for the repair.

To this day still waiting and it’s been nearly 4 weeks!

I've dealt with stuff like this before and it took months, but did get my money.

Are you sure they aren't mini fridges?

I paid 37gbp (was a good price) for a 50.000mah. who wants to pay nearly 100gbp for 20 something mah?

For one, they're not as fast chargers. The whole reason this power bank is nearly £100 is because of how quick it charges. You can get a 20,000 mAh power bank for much cheaper if you want a slower charging one.

Secondly, that's a Chinese site, so cheaper, and I personally wouldn't want a random brand when it comes to a battery. Especially with all the issues you can get in terms of overheating.

Purely out of interest / nosiness / fascination, what has to be true to need to use a power bank every day?

Most awkward thing to travel with due to how thick it is. The large ones that are flatter are much more portable

This app is so inconsistent. I posted this deal a few months ago, it went cold and received floods of negative comments.

I've got one. It's excellent. Power your life. Charge when out and about using other people's power and then use at home for free power. Pays for itself it literally weeks.

You save about 3p per full charge. Go you!

Used on a recent trip. Pair this with a fast recharger (100 watt+) and you'll get a full recharge in around an hour. A real advantage when you are out and about.

It says on this link delivery 22-28th July? I know sometimes Amazon tell you longer delivery and then actually deliver it a lot sooner.

I need something like this for next weekend - is it worth me just spending the extra £ and getting it Prime 1 day.

Useless if you planned to use this with a Mini 3 Pro.
But since you've just dropped £90 on this "[...]maybe you can also try some 9V==3A chargers (that do not support 12V) to see whether you can get the same results as ours"

Why someone would use this kind of power bank to charge a small consumer drone lol.

Pretty decent, I nearly bought this on Friday (It's still in my basket) as it was £99 but has now gone up to £139 - 20% = £111.99 is a fair bit more - I'm very tempted by the £86.99 option but like someone else I need it for this coming weekend (Silverstone).

Anker was also selling it "directly" for £139 - £40 on Friday but this deal has also gone now. (edited)

The screen is really useful. It shows you what charging rate devices are charging at and also a countdown in time and percentage till battery is flat. Extremely useful (edited)

Yes, most of the flight company limited to 100Wh, while this power bank with only 86.4Wh.

I've got this and a 200w charger, and it's fantastic. I've used it for laptops occasionally but mostly for my steam deck or switch (with mag connectors for the usb).

Whats the highest wattage you achieve when charging it? Mine with a 140w charges goes max to 86w. Thanks

Don't have this one but similar.
They are very heavy which is an issue if taking in hand luggage
