Definitely not "hot" - it seems to be the price they are available in some places - they're even £89 at ukcamerastore. Not to be confused with the much more expensive ED version.

Bak4 are not roof prisms. Nikon with same specs is 100ish (again non roof prisms). Roof prisms start from 300+ish price range
