I brought this a few weeks ago. Sent it back it's terrible no signal strength and low low speed (15mb) read the reviews for the CAT6 model .I've gone for TPlink MR600 and I'm getting full signal strength and over 100mb download with same SIM
Sphere
but not £44.99!!

I have this router, use it in my new place where I can't get broadband. Put an unlimited data Asda SIM card in (super fast speed) which runs off vodafone and so far very impressed with it highly recommend

What are you paying for Asda unlimited data SIM?

Just seen it at Currys too for the same price

I'd stay clear from unknown brands for security reasons. Use a well known company that cares about its reputation if you care about your data and privacy.

Nonsense. Look what this "well known company" are doing with my privacy and data! sevrosecurity.com/201…ve/

Currently looking at Mifi products and as an alternative i'm looking at GL-inet products like the Mango mini router which has inbuilt VPN. I have a spare phone with 4G LTE that i can use as a tether that attaches to the mini router via usb. Apparently the signal is very strong and secure. Reviews online speak wonders about GL-inets products.
Apologies for the explanation i've just been down the rabbit hole as I looked into more and more Mifi products.

Inbuilt vpn will be very slow, probably 10mb.

in case you're at all worried about where ELSE your network traffic could go.

Yes made in China like every other 4g router that has ever been made! (edited)

Asda Unlimited is £20 a month 5G
jamcon72
....that price has the speed capped at 2mbps so went for the £24 @ 150mbps subject to your signal I presume.

So is it really strong or just the name is strong?
mentm
You'd think they would all be 5G?
rosscopark
I don’t find 5g any faster than 4g+ ever was/is, and the internet can only work at a certain speed I believe! (edited)
Just don't go Three!!!!!! Can't stress it enough, was amazing for 6 weeks then the router give up the ghost and they won't do anything to help me. Been on live chat, phone, email and worst than not helping they just keep fobbing me off saying sending a new sim and nothing arrives (eventually got one from store). Then finally, finally said they'd send a replacement router and then 10 days after i went back on and they said it ain't coming i need to go through manufacturer warranty!! Lastly, i did actually go into manufacturers website and put the routers serial number in and it says they don't repair / replace you need to contact your ISP. Been offline 4 weeks this week, unfortunately i went for contract rather than rolling :,( honestly terrible terrible company and experienc
