sorted byI'd have played GTA again on PC but it's console only.
Insurgency Sandstorm is abysmal. Not because of the gameplay, but because it's on Unreal Engine 4. Doesn't matter what spec PC you have, it runs like a turd on a wall. Add in the fact that many matches have insane lag due to half the people having 100ms+ ping from Russia and the US, it just makes the stuttering worse.
Its crazy how poor game pass is. It's exactly like Netflix, extremely average content at best and now the price rises have started. The only positive I've had out of it is 20-30 hours of Valheim.
5 or so of us have all tried game pass at some point on PC, and all the £1 trials did was allow us to demo a couple of games before buying them on Steam at a discount and uninstalling the Xbox app.
Basically if you enjoy shows rated 5/10 on Netflix, you'll get a lot of value out of game pass. (edited)
Thats not including what the kids play so im finding great value. yes, if you want AAA drops every month then you'll be disappointed. Games which i really enjoyed ive gone an bought.
im waiting for sony to offer a xcloud version of their sub service and i'll sub to that too. I dont even need Day and date releases of the AAA games. Just allow me to stream even the older games and i'll be happy.
The online mode is optimised for series S/X
And you can’t download the third pack which says it’s to optimise the game ….

Nintendo "You will buy all your old games back, and at a higher price, enjoy".
MS "Pop 20 year old original xbox and 16 year old xbox 360 disc, into xbox one, xbox one X, and series X, and play game". (drops mic and walks away) lol (edited)
Point to better value gaming service and I am signing up today ! 🏻 (edited)
Gamepass versions of the game are no different than full retail, it's the same game
I was going to buy it on PS5 recently and I'm now glad I didn't. I know it's not much of an upgrade, but I am curious to see the differences. Not sure the Series S will have much graphical differences than more realistic fire as there's no ray tracing, like with the PS5, but hey ho. I'll give it a try.
And, like the contrarian I am, I converted some birthday money into Gold back in June and have 3 years of GPU stacked now. With Starfield getting mentioned as a Day One release, I thought sod it. Swallow my pride and take the plunge. I do love my Bethesda games.
PS Plus is still my preferred subscription, but I have renewed faith in GPU now. Just need the big titles to come through.
They will be squeezing a few last drops of in game currency out of the public before releasing a teaser if GTA 6.
Mind you, 10 godamn years since I bought this in September, remember it like it was yesterday.
with gamepass going up to £13 soon i think i'll give it a break and try ps premium
(ncludes both the Xbox One and the Xbox Series X|S versions of Grand Theft Auto V) (edited)
