cjaydI agree. Had no need at all, and was delighted when it arrived (it was the Pro rechargeable version).
I was so happy that I bought one for the brother in law for Xmas. His wife asked "What will you use it for"

pmbaHmm, with a total disregard for happiness I went for the Warehouse 30% off twin pack Big Larry/Lil Larry. Hope I'm not disappointed with BL2's predecessor.
RoosterNo1Big Larry doesn't have a torch... And only has high/low settings, where as bl2 has a flashlight in the end, and is dimmable on all three lights.... So, I'd be disappointed
Also, when the bl2 arrives, it'll be in shop mode (lamp turns off after 15 seconds) to disable this, remove the batteries for a few minutes.- danoflaHad a couple of these for a while now, pretty solid lights.
