Nothing wrong with students. They are our future! Plus, there is nothing stopping you from being there early.

Most of the "street food" options in Battersea Power/Market Hall/Merkato station are nothing to write home about. Roti King, back when it was a hole-in the wall in Euston, used to be an authentic experience but the Battersea one comes in big sealed bags that they just reheat.

These days most normal restaurants with 4.0 stars are better than these 4.6+ star street food places. Bangkok Bay near the park for example is still relatively cheap and good.

Roti King at Euston was pure gristle when I went and one waiter kept kicking my foot despite me ensuring my feet and legs were completely under the very crowded table, so as not to block anyone's path.

Definitely not worth the wait.

It's great how they give out unhealthy food full of salt and saturated fats. That have adverse health effects. Your never see a shop give out free furit and vegetables for you, that is healthy.

I suspect that's because people who eat healthy are usually better educated and have too much self-respect to queue for an hour for a £1 worth of food.

They're definitely not gourmet burgers but I don't think they look awful unless you're not a fan on brioche buns, they look like any other smash burger to me.

I've just had one and it was lovely.

HOWEVER... The offer doesn't apply to the Manna street food van outside the Power Station, only the restaurant inside.

Went today it's a much smaller burger than you'd think I definitely wouldn't of bothered to wait over an hour - and it doesn't come with anything it's a smash burger in a bun no cheese tomato etc so don't expect much
