Invisible bond
Enhance your design appearance with virtually invisible bonding – a game-changing approach for your design concepts. Explore new possibilities and use new, innovative materials to improve the look of your products while optimising performance, reducing weight, preventing bi-metallic corrosion and streamlining your production processes.

A durable difference
With a bond that’s built to withstand the rigours of exposure, 3M VHB Tapes resist hot, cold and cycling temperatures, UV light, moisture, and solvents. They seal against environmental conditions and damp vibration to reduce metallic wear-and-tear.

Demanding strength
For your most demanding bonding applications, 3M VHB Tapes distribute dynamic or static stress over the entire surface of the design, improving holding strength and eliminating the need for mechanical fasteners.

Application efficiency
3M VHB Tapes are simple and easy to apply, saving you time and money. The tapes bond on contact, assemble easily and can be cut to precise shapes and sizes for custom applications.

It’s strong stuff, been holding up my magnetic knife rack above the hob on ceramic tiles for the last 2 years without issue

This stuff is pretty good as long as it's not installed somewhere which fluctuates a lot in temp

Yup, have this problem with my dash cam. Car gets hot in the summer and the camera falls off

If you want good adhesion with VHB tape, make sure that you use 3M's VHB primer 94 on any hard surface that it's to be used on. Yes, this primer is VERY expensive too, but is critical for good adhesion and smells lovely when applying it ;-)

I was a sign-maker and often used this to fix 25mm Sign Channel to ACM and aluminium sheets, some even weighed over 10kg and this tape held signs up for many years. But, if it's to hold anything above head-height, mechinal fixings need to be used.

    Back in 2018, I was paying £20 trade (exVAT) for 33m roll 25mm wide - it's over £100 a roll now ;-( (edited)

Best tape out there IMHO. It does not leave a mess and break up in to little bits if you ever have to remove it.

I get this and the clear one from Lidl whenever they have it in the middle isle.

Decent doubled sided tape always comes in handy but I think this is going to struggle to get to hot because people might think it's a regular price.

Personally I would edit the subject line to say 50% off RRP and I would change the default picture to show that it's a big/wide roll (standard picture in a chain just looks like a thin roll which 'may' make people scroll past)

    Heat and bought

If it looks like anything in the picture, that holds chains together, I would buy but highly unlikely to be that strong

Would this be any good for sealing draft gaps around door frames? Thanks. Though assumed double sided refers to the stick so I’d probably glue the door shut?

beed it for a knife rack too, so could be a bonus

    No... get draught seals.

How would this cope in a bathroom?

I should do alright, painted walls or tiles?

Well this 'thin' roll turned up and I wish I had ignored the pictures. I was expecting the thick and wide roll - that could be spliced into two strips - but got a thin roll which looks like the picture holding the chain together (although it's pretty obvious it's macro photographed and using toilet cistern chain)

I guess it will come in handy but i do think it's a tad dishonest to include pictures of their other products (only one pic shows the actual product the rest are an thicker and wider alternative) and to take pictures up close to make it look wider and thicker than it is.
