    A few points.

    Shop around seascanner are just using NCL prices not a discount on the direct rate for OK grade

    Cheapest Ocean view(OV) solo is £677 direct OX grade available.

    Recommend Grats/service/tips optional are $20 £15.50pppd. (£170.50) not £12pppd

    NCL do air credit on this one on OV and above(not inside) to help with flights research first so you know options.
    (No way to add those through seascanner on line and you can't call)

    Free at sea(FAS) for 11n is £199.


    Vivavoyage is cheaper (may be other TAs )

    The same OK grade is £638
    They also discount FAS


    There are cheaper options

    Insides start from £475 solo direct with NCL but no air credit.

    Discounts on that rate from TAs.

    Nice itinerary and good price if you can get flights to fit.

    On seascanner its coming up at £2.9k for 2A 2C with FAS in OV. If flights can be added for reasonable amount, that’s not bad for something mostly in school hols.  (edited)

    ...yes...look at the itinerary. You get 8 - 12 hours in each port.....Enough time to jump on a tour bus and see what's there.......

    Great itinerary. Only just over £200 more to add the 5 benefits one being premium drinks package. Looked at the 2 flights needed looks like around £100 each way with 20KG checked in so add £200 pp to the cost. Still a great deal for end of August. Hot from me

    Basic drinks in the buffet water coffee tea juices(not fresh)
    Can ask for a hot water machine in cabin with coffee tea supplies


    Alcohol needs a package or PAYG.

    best option is free at sea £199 includes a specialty meal(2 if balcony) 150min WiFi and $50 off each shore excursion.

    Unless a very light drinker free at sea is the way to go.

    recommend is £15.50pppd.

    Transfer from Rome airport to Civitavecchia cheapest is car but over £100

    Train is cheap with change but station a bit of a distance from port.

    If you use NCL flights the transfers should be included.

    ....Costa charge you 11 euro pd... Take that as your industry standard guideline if you're unsure...

    Realistically, once you've added gratuities and flights on, you're looking at £1k

    Still good compared to land trips.


    The flight credit from NCL should cover at least 1/2 the flight cost.

    I have had them reduce the total adding flights on a trip.

    Can get on the ship with drinks and tips included for £700 if you go inside.

    NCL flight transfers should keep it well under £1k
    Needs someone to call for flights check.
