These are nice with Nutella or fried banana or even just plain

Dayuum never thought of trying sweet toppings, that will be corrected soon

    Heat.

Can't comment on these but fresh parathas are traditionally made with ghee and eaten with achaar (pickle) in eastern and western Punjab.

A lot of people eat them with curry too or yoghurt especially in Ramadan. (edited)

hmm, never heard Punjab described as Eastern/Western in that context... unless you're referring to both sides of India/Pakistan border

Love them. A bit like the roti canai that I used to have for breakfast in KL/Penang. No they don't break up in the freezer and are lovely and flakey if you do them properly on a pan. Great with curries.

Handy to have in the freezer for a lazy night!

It's scandalous to even call these parathas it really is but if you're into fake stuff I suppose it's possible a deal

Do you buy ice cream, honey or extra virgin olive oil in the UK?
Same idea in vast majority of the brands on offer

These ones are not like the other Humza parathas from local shops. I bought these and they are too dry and not enough butter or ghee it's more like Dried Roti which isn't what paratha is meant to taste like. I would avoid Tesco Humza parathas and spend more and buy from other retailers

Have you compared ingredients lists as that sounds odd?

Not as nice as how they originally made them. Something’s off about them they don’t cook and taste as good.

Probably due to inclusion of dodgy emulsifiers and too many E numbers in the ingredients. Not fit to be called parathas.

Easy to make from usual Atta.

Exactly and you'd avoid palm oil, sugar and additives.

I like my parathas whole, not in 20 pieces
I guess when you freeze these things they are prone to shattering!

I’m sure these are currently £1.29 in farmfoods
    deleted2936900's avatar
Are you sure that's not for the 400g pack?

Parathas from Indian neighbours' homes on Sunday mornings made the traditional way with lots of ghee are God-tier food. These ones not so much. (edited)
