sorted byBut the last 2 pairs I bought just fell apart (one pair literally) after about 6 months mild use. The stitching all came apart at the back of one of the boots.
There’s definitely better brands to look at if you’re after boots as a serious professional, or maybe just for fashion. I wear DeWalt steel toe caps for work and they hold up through so much abuse!
I’m sorry to say but Timberland now represent Poor value for money.
genuine question….. tempted as i have always liked them, but dont look comfortable compared to todays walking and hiking shoes and if i remember these can be quite heavy as well…
heat for the find, but just dont need an unopened box of shoes in the house… (edited)
Also only works on Beige, Grey & Brown.
i have a lot of footwear, and typically rotate what i wear each day, and wipe them down with a wet wipe and put back in the box after wearing so they don't stay dirty. i have a couple of pairs of trainers aside if i want to nip out to the shop across the road or take the bins out, and sliders etc for wearing inside, but for years been using timberlands for my main work footwear in an office, either variations of the classic boot, mainly in black, but also boat shoes for summer. so to me they are workwear. if you were a joiner or something then steel toecap boots may be better. i've got a few pairs of hikers but the only grass i go near is not the type you walk on. to me, just walking up the road is a hike. you don't need to go wandering in the middle of nowhere up a hill to consider it hiking. again tho, there are probably better boots for the serious outdoors person, but again timberlands for light use like that are probably better than many other options, so whilst they have the fashion edge, they can cover various uses. i find them comfy
They squeek a lot and can't be abused anywhere near as much as ones from 5-10 years ago.
Avoid.
Great if you're a midget... Or a giant
