up to 4.5w? How much do cameras use? I mean that's pretty low, and it's not likely to be at maximum unless it's full sunshine.

Yes it's about charging the battery not running the camera.

Anyone know if these can be put on an extender...

Need a camera on the front of house and a solar panel for it on the back for south facing...

Can extend as long as you wish although excessive runs and multiple connections will ultimately degrade power transmission.
Probably cheaper to throw an extra tenner at a solar panel + camera bundle that also includes ongoing rolling freebie Amazon AWS cloud storage:
    example Amazon ASIN B0B72SCDWL
If you want the higher-res 2k cam+panel at around total £33 you may have to wait for the next (expected) discount cycle around 07 Aug:
    keepa.com/

Or drop the solar panel output cable to accessible location (even to a nearby window opening) and use an extension cable from that location to feed camera,
then when (if?) required break into the accessible extension to force temporary mains / powerbank-derived topup powersource.

I've something very similar (unknown Chinese brand) connected to my battery powered Ring doorbell. Over 4 years now and not had to charge the battery manually once.

Is your wife charging it behind your back. In UK all solar panels are very inefficient

What a weird thing to put in the description of a solar panel, "non-stop". Maybe if you got it into outer space??
