The worst resort ever; dirty rooms, nothing to do ,all entertainment with non-professional staff, it is like back in time compared with other places. Not recommended.

I can say it's about same with other camps, i was at one in may this year skegness, on the monday week before bank holiday, stayed a week.
From monday to thursday only 1 show on at one venue a night, the other venue just had some red coats acting about, but when the kids are off for the bank holiday from friday onwards they had shows on other venues open aswell.
If you go basically out of season they have cut back on it all.
Oh and there so called premium dining is not, the plates are not cleaned right, number of times i said to staff these plates were not clean, still had egg on them when trying to get my breakfast, none of there crockery is cleaned proper.
    They have just cut back.
At least skegness is a seaside town you can go out and about and it as fantasy island with it's big market, i've been to bognor camp it's small and nothing outside really.

Just come back from there. Stayed in the Shoreline hotel.

Don't go all inclusive, us and many people we spoke to had bad a stomach at least 2 nights of the week.

The whole place smelled of sick. Most the kids machines ate money or failed to work correctly but the staff did sort us out.

Most things close at 5 and 8pm and the place is dead from 10

Not all bad, most staff are fantastic. The external free productions are spot on.

Hotel room was good for the money, although the safe wasn't bolted down.

Wouldn't go again just because of the smell, and it was worse during and after the rain last week

I went to this Butlins last year on the same deal and had a great time.
Never been to a holiday camp before, there was so much entertainment in the evenings and so many places to visit near Bognor Regis we didn't get bored once

I got caught with a load of drugs at this park during a private event which basically held raves for 3 days. I was evicted and we didn't go quietly, after they raided our chalet and found allsorts on the desk! I wonder if they keep a record of people they have evicted and if I'm banned for life?

I was one of the security guards at that event and if I remember rightly we didn’t evict you for drug misuse, you were evicted because you were to ugly and were scaring other guests.

Good if you need a warm room away in November for a few nights.

I love Butlins and me and my family have lots of happy memories. The entertainment is great quality. I would recommend not going bronze but silver up is adequate. Our last silver apartment was grotty so i complained and we were upgraded to lovely accommodation. I find the staff really nice and helpful. The resort itself i found very clean and I am very fussy. We did our own cooking and ate awat from resort so i cant really comment on that. I actually don't like the new pool because its very geared up for small children and i prefered the old one. I have been with toddlers and later with pre teens and they loved it. I would imagine there is less for older teens. (edited)

I live round the corner and already booked shoreline for those dates. I booked silver rooms earlier in the year and never again, they were terrible. I tend just to use the passes for the week tho as something to do in Nov. But I will probably actually stay a night or two in the hotel this time as it looks quite nice. (edited)
