If I already subscribed ages ago to the newsletter, I wonder if they will use that email or I must use a new email for the £1 delivery (edited)

£1 delivery is automatically applied at checkout (not dependent on newsletter)

if you want a 10% code, just signup to the newsletter with another email address, I don't think the code is tied to an account so could then use on an existing account once its generated.

    thanks

Hi everyone,I work at Wilko warehouse and. Like most people and shops that are struggling from COVID and cost of living, but Wilko is working on plans to turn the struggle around and with plans in place it's looking very good ,even though certain stores don't have items in ,it's all planned for what each store actually sells .

Obviously didn't think very hard on the ' turning things around ' plans.

Sad to see Wilko struggling. Used to be a very good shop about 5 years ago. Then they cut a lot off staff leading to huge queues at the tills. Dont think it can all be blamed on Covid. The stuff they sell is still in demand, but Home Bargains and B and M have taken their trade. Think they are better run these days. In Colchester virtually nothing useful in Town Centre. Not always easy to travel to out of town retail parks, but older people without cars, like me, are worthless these days.

Yes our wilko is the same been like that for ages ! They blamed it on lockdown! Love wilko but I always think there shops are in the wrong places for the garden things etc they sell !

Nearly all the homebrewing stuff has been discontinued, that can't be good. (edited)

The 3 Wilko's near me look like they are closing down hardly anything on the shelves?
    ToddHoffman's avatar
Yes they reckon the second bailout (£5M) will only see them through until the end of August I read somewhere

Which store was you at when that photo was taken?

Love to if you stocked everything instead of continuing to say out of stock

Thank you very much OP I took advantage of a pound delivery. Ordered 2 tubs of fatballs, that would have been a pain to carry home otherwise so me and the birds will be happy

Gave up looking, after numerous "email me when in stock" tags
  18. jimbo23's avatar
Nada in stock for me, but, nevertheless, a good deal.

(I wouldn't want to be a Wilko delivery driver at the moment).

Didn’t work for me, signed up and put item in basket checkout states £4.95 postage? Item in the category home which it’s under? (edited)
    Crossbow's avatar
What's the item pls, I can check from my side to confirm if you don't mind sharing what it is. Or, pm me if you'd prefer not to share it in public.
  20. CynicalNurse's avatar
Would be wary about placing large orders at the moment because if they go under you lose your money.

Nothing to sweat about if you're paying with a credit card (s75 protection). Even with a debit card you can claim chargeback from your bank but you're more protected with credit (as it's a statutory right).
