I have the 5800H and 3070 version - wonder if they fixed the HDMI port on this one to make it HDMI 2.1 as the one on my machine definitely is not 2.1
    fishmaster's avatar
Unfortunately even HDMI 2.1 isn't HDMI 2.1 anymore

"Any HDMI connection can now be labelled as HDMI 2.1, and that's not okay"

The screen shots say WQHD but the description says 1080p

The photos are for illustrative purposes only. In case of Lenovo laptops, the shops usually provide the Model number or Part number. In this case, it is "82RD00C1UK". You take this value, then go to psref.lenovo.com and paste it at the top. There you will be shown the exact and full specifications of your Lenovo laptop.

In this case it is Full HD (1080p).

How does the 6800H compare to the i7-12700H that's available for £50 more?
    sauchieboy's avatar
The 12700H laptop has faster processing but less battery life
  4. PhoenixS's avatar
God bless anyone who bought it at 1,650

Seems very expensive for a 15" 1080p dated 3070 laptop... Seen deals on 3070 laptops far cheaper than this... hell the 4070 legion 5i pro was the same price on here last week
    nickjcol1's avatar
You got a link for that?

have the 6800H from Very with the 3060 and the QHD screen, great little laptop, upgraded the SSD 1x2TB and 1x4TB and the RAM to 64GB - monster of a machine now, great for image and video editing.
    doobreedob's avatar
How noisy are the fans when you use this laptop for eg video editing?

    Specs look well-balanced.

Does anyone know about the quality of the screen?
    Russell_Jemmett's avatar
Pretty sure I have the 5000 series version with the 2060 with this screen. And it's fine, not amazing, you can't really see the pixels unlike other monitors. It's 1080 after all...

Kind of feel like a 3070 gpu is overkill for 1080p. I’d either want a 1440p screen or save some serious money and get a 20xx series gpu. Maybe that’s just me though!

8.5% cashback at top cashback for new Argos accounts.

Also worth flagging that this seems to ha e three years Lenovo warranty rather than the standard one year if the description on Argos website is correct.

How does this compare to this johnlewis.com/hp-….ds

I can get this for £1200 on a business offer
    kamranashraf11's avatar
    Buy me one too
  11. shamus21's avatar
    not worth it.
if it had the 3070Ti maybe.

Are there any current laptop deals good for FM? Guessing this is overkill
    Four-Naan-Dan's avatar
One thing to consider with FM is that in 2025 it's due a complete overhaul and will be running off of a new engine. So whilst not really taxing now, that might change in a couple years

Seems a great deal, but not too long ago I posted a deal of this laptop with a QHD display and 3060 for £749. Don’t think this is worth a £300 surplus for a worse display and 3070. This isn’t a bad deal, however.
    medicgaming123's avatar
If you just so happen to have Argos vouchers or one4all cards, then this could be good!
  14. William82's avatar
Okay deal yeh, but 3070 is overkill for FHD imho.
