    Maybe daft question.
But the guaranteed trade in of £100 is run by Samsung, not Mobile phones direct. So can I trade in one phone to MPD, and another to Samsung?

    Edit: spelling (edited)

    Simply put - NO.

Excellent deal for the 512gb version. Not sure why it's gone cold?!

Because it's with 3, and unfortunately their service and network are shockingly bad in so many places. Their website literally lies about their coverage, trapping people in contracts for 2 years, with little to no service. Their 4g is so slow even with full bars, it's not usable. I've finally come to the end of my contact with 3,and wouldn't touch them again

What do you all think is better, a Nothing Phone 2 or a Galaxy S23 Plus? Important to me = cameras, and battery life. Ta!
    HellriderUKDeals69's avatar
    Samsung without any doubt!

It's still not convincing me, where to get a good fresh battery for the s10?

Never had a contract phone before. Anyone willing to clarify my understanding of how contact price increase works?:

    Assuming a CPI increase of 9.1% + 3.9% for next two years, and the priceincrease start at April 2024 which is 8 months away, the actual cost would be 159 upfront + 26 * 8 months + 26 * 1.13 * 12 months + 26* 1.13^2 * 4 remaining months = 852, rather than the advertised 783?

(Which is still a good deal when bundled with SIM as a separate SIM plan will cost 10*24) (edited)

I think your calculations are correct. It should be mandatory to include the CPI increase in any contract phone deals posted here, the quoted prices are always misleading. (edited)

    Hi,

Does anybody know what portion of the £26 a month is airtime and handset cost?

I'm trying to work out how much the mothly cost for airtime will increase in Apr/2024 and then again in Apr/2025.

    Thanks.
    davidbbbb12345's avatar
It's combined. The rpi will apply for the full £26

Maybe not the right place to ask but... I'm looking for a new phone, it's between the S23+ and a discounted iPhone. 14 is cheap now but the 60Hz puts me off. I bought a car only with carplay and hate the fact I can't use an android there but I think I prefer the S23+ way over any pro or pro max.

    What would you do?
    Asy370Z's avatar
Depending on the car you might be able to get android auto activated. I'd go for the S23+ personally

I have a phone with a damaged camera/lens. Will they accept it?
    JL22's avatar
I believe Samsung website states any "working phone", so as long as it powers on and the screen is functional, this will qualify. Damaged screens (cracks), back covers, cameras etc are okay.

This or the Magic 5 pro deal for £820 with the tablet ? Upgrading from a Poco F3
    Excuses_1's avatar
I am in the same boat.

    - Samsung Galaxy retains value of 300 GBP even after 2 years, if you want to change handset.
    - Better Brand name
    - Better after sales support
    - Performance is better comparing Magic 5 pro

    - With Magic Pro 5 you get additional accessories : Wireless charger + Tablet + Phone Case.
    - Camera got good rating
    - True Display but samsung got similar too
    - No figures available for Honor for sale after using for 2-3 years

I will not consider trade in bonus here because that will have same value for both the phones. (edited)

One of the best deals for a S23+, but no not budging, still too much money. That and Three are woeful - signal and customer service - 'third' rate (edited)

I am on Vodafone. I don't get signal at kids local swimming complex, no signal at any if groceries, no signal in Costco, no signal at city centre, no decent signal at home without WiFi......Its scam to charge so much plus prices go up by 15% a year.
    O2 isn't good either here.
A few years ago voda were top notch at all these places.

Looking at getting this deal as having constant issues with my current phone and network (ee). Just wondering is it better to do the trade in or sell seperately as I currently have an s21 256gb? Thanks! (edited)
  19. abigsmurf's avatar
Went with a marginally more expensive Vodafone deal as there's no three coverage in my home. Should the cashback track instantly? Also, tried the Samsung offer and they said my IMEI wasn't eligible but I'm guessing/hoping it needs MPD to mark the phone as sold.

Also having issues with my number switching. The phone reports the number has switched with the sim correctly by it's still going to GiffGaff voicemail if I try calling it.
  20. hotukbuythingswedontneed's avatar
This seems to be cheaper than the 256GB deals on the same site - any idea why that is?

Looks like Black is completely gone. Suspect they are selling out.
