the Ward is the department store version of the Old Skool and usually made with cheaper materials (fabric rather than suede on the toe/and heel) and designed to be sold at a lower cost
They looks similar but easy way to tell us the toe box, the wards have a flap with a D shaped stitch on it that goes over the toe box from the laces. On an old skool it’s tucked under.
they will probably outlive you and look even cooler as they disintegrate over the years
i now only wear vans and converse shoes
