Solid game but on PC you'll need minimum 4070ti to appreciate it properly due to the nasty stuttering on low vram cards....

I've went back to it this year on my 4090 and it doesn't miss a beat at 4k max settings such a nice looking game.

First playthrough is amazing as you basically explore where ever you want although zones are scaled you can jump ahead if you're skillful enough and do different paths by accident even like I did.

Overall well worth the money and so many builds are viable now since patches fixed a lot of stuff

That's not true at all. It's 18 months old, it played fine on the cards back then, the 4070Ti only came out 6 months ago! All the reviews, 95% of players, all the plaudits and awards were for the game on the cards around when it came out. I played on a 6GB 1060, it was perfect, no stuttering and it looked amazing. The official recommended was only a 1070.

It's not a bad price at all. I still think all these Souls style games are all the same, and they aren't particularly incredible, but they're still good I guess for what they are. Nice challenge, interesting fantasy worlds, cool looking armour styles and weapons, simple mechanics yet still challenging to get the hang of. Lot's of pros to them.

I think if you’re not that into them I can see why you’d think they are all the same… with the exception of this one. All the others follow a similar path, but Elden Ring is vastly different being open world.
