We stayed there at the end of April. Definitely worth paying extra to select a van (tip, near the restaurant on the cliff).

Regular bus service into Exmouth which saves parking issues. Exmouth is really rather nice and cheap train fares to Exeter and Teignmouth

Topsham and Dawlish also on the same train line, if you like train-hopping.
Or Topsham is a very nice walk along the Exe Estuary from Exmouth, and get the train back.

Took 10 hours to get home from Devon on Friday thanks to the M5 being closed. Tempting offer but I couldn't do the journey again so soon.

Yep same here, should have only been 5hrs back home to Yorkshire.

Great haven site apart from the army gun practice site on the headland so you can hear the guns going off between 9 n 4 during the week. Apart from that it’s a great site and everyone is very friendly there x

Has the phone and Wi-Fi signal improved since I was last there in 2019? Was like being in 1998.

We're there right now on the Rowan meadow side and Vodafone gets no data and EE is very intermittent. Can't comment on o2.

There is free WiFi in the arcade etc, but nothing across the park.

Lovely views and park though! Kids loved the activities and a bus ride into Exmouth.

I think I posted this last year - mate who used to work had head office said this is their 'flagship' site and it the best of the portfolio.

My 10 year old asked to come back again this year, and with the Friends & Family discount I got was happy to do so, but for me a long weekend is enough there. Beach is a bit 'aromatic' so 2nd part of the trip was North Devon where we discovered Westward Ho!
    Crashcox1's avatar
I used to holiday every summer in westward Ho when I was a child, some lovely memories and always feels like home whenever I go there.

With the amount of rain we've had you would have to sleep with one eye open, its a long way down. (edited)
