For those that have more than a small patch of missing render this stuff could be expensive.

If you choose to use a sand & cement mix, rendering sand will work better than soft sand.

If you have adhesion problems this will be useful toolstation.com/eve…528

This tool will make a good finish more likely toolstation.com/dra…887

Is this premixed? Or a powder that lasts longer then you mix it up?

premixed, just add water, mix and apply. Works really well from the areas I have applied. I always have it a little bit wetter than instructions suggest and still goes rock solid when set.

Does this work for that bit of mortar between the roof tiles and the side walls of the house? Chunks are falling out of ours now that just look like cement.

No you need a mortar mix not a render repair

    I think it's the same price in b & q.

I have a couple of cracks in my render that occasionally leak depending on direction of the rain! Anyone have any experience with this, is it any good or better to pay a professional?

Similar situation with the rain, ended up asking for a quote and they wanted £660, decided to buy materials myself for £15 and mixed it myself

This good for filling in between patio gaps?
    Amadan's avatar
Yes if the gaps are wide but be careful re colour matching per my reply above.

Any chance this might be useful for re-laying a couple of loose flags?

Can I use this to render a wall that's been built up by cement blocks?

believe so at least the picture on front shows it, shame its out of stock now and saying 1-2 months delivery. Needed it to do some patching on my garden wall.
