300 nits brightness is a little on the low side.
As with all cheap Samsung VA panels, ghosting/Black smearing will be quite bad so if you're a gamer and that bothers you, you might want to look elsewhere.
You could have grabbed this for £240 in June direct from Samsung with a code, sadly we don't have time machines (yet!).
Its not bad monitor if you manage to pick it up around the 240 - 290 mark.
