Make sure you play Tinykin before it leaves, absolutely delightful game, one of my favourites from last year (edited)

Seconded! Such a lovely game. Movement feels great and the writing is strong. About 3-4hrs to complete and 6hrs to 100%.
The Wasp Races (free update) are fantastic fun and really quite challenging

Perfect. Fancied Fire Watch for a while!

Great story, not so great game. Practically a walking simulator but it does have lovely visuals. Once and done sort of game, wish I hadn't paid full price at launch but it's deffo worth a play if renting.

    Everspace 2 available today

Never got around to playing Firewatch, so happy to see it return. Going to check Tinykin on the recommendation here, looks fun. Kinda crazy we're getting Starfield on release.

Absolutely worth it if you like 3D platformers. Has some light action strategy by commanding Pikmin like Tinykin to carry and open up new areas.

I think the visuals, controls, exploration, mechanics, relaxing music, entertaining characters/world and challenges were great. Not revolutionary and not any big boss battles but well worth the time to complete.

Firewatch was never X enhanced unfortunately which means to my memory it runs at 30fps at around 720p-1080p. Unfortunately the art style does suffer with the lack of resolution so if you are sensitive to stuff like this it could be a deal breaker but i'd try and persevere as the game is just fantastic and its slow paced so the frame rate, beyond visual issues, doesn't effect gameplay too much.

I reallt enjoyed 'Firewatch' when I played it first time it was on Game Pass. Really chilled sort of game, good for winding down after something more strenuous. Not too long and the story really had me invested.

The big guns start arriving next month, so Everspace 2 and Texas Chainsaw Massacre will keep me busy until then. (edited)

    Cool story bro

Firewatch is supposed to be recommended if you like what became of Edith finch. Will give that a go. Cheers OP.
    TheCostOfLies's avatar
It's ok, but nothing like Edith Finch. Far too much backtracking and walking over the same large map to be considered in the same conversation at EF.

I guess you can't die in either, so there's that

I hate that the returns are announced this way. Limbo returned the other month, now firewatch, before that it was gta. They should have a dedicated return section and quake 2 the obvious spotlight is in a in case you missed it section... I know it was a shadow drop because of quakecon, but still, microsoft needs to get their act together.

    Gris is a re-add too

Can't wait for TCM, going to be a blast
    justabout72's avatar
Apparently it's a blast for about 10 minutes then you realise it's the same game as Friday the 13th
  14. mrdarknight79's avatar
I would rather have 1 quality AAA title a month on Gamepass than 4 crap ones that I will never play.

Heat for the heads up, but Game Pass games are seriously lackluster these days. Maybe Game Pass is worth it if you love indy games or a few ten year old AAAs, but I'm really starting to question its worth. Sure, we have Starfield, Forza Motorsport, Payday 3 on the way, but I've been subscribed for over a year and barely played anything that I didn't already own. MS need to up their game, as it's getting hard to justify the cost in my opinion.

I urge people to play Tinykin before it leaves Game Pass. It was my main gaming surprise of last year, a true hidden gem in a vast sea of Average on Game Pass and a game I’ll happily buy when I get the urge to play it a third time. (edited)

100% agree on Tinykin. Great game.

I wouldn’t hold your breath, no FromSoft games have been added in the past as far as I know?

I can't download Everspace 2 for some reason? Download button on the Xbox store does nothing?! Weird!

Finally a good month! Sea of Stars is decent.
  27. Doyl's avatar
Sea of Stars looks absolutely gorgeous, shame it's releasing so close to Starfield (early access anyway) as it'll likely get less attention.
