A very decent price for a 47.4% Islay whisky but not to everyone’s taste.

    Really did not like this young harsh whisky, should be 20/25 quid max and even then leave it. At this price I'd be taking Old Pulteny 12 or Highland park 12 when it's on offer (which is often). Ardbeg / Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy is trying to bring in younger whisky at higher prices to push up the price of older whiskys, don't fall for it. (edited)

    Like I said in my post not to everyone’s taste.
    I assume you mean Highland park 10 regularly on offer.
    Both HP 10 and Old Pultney are only 40%, which is a significant difference.
    Personally I prefer a higher abv. 

    I am not sure where or when you expect to pick up a 47% Islay whisky for £20/£25 anytime soon.
