Composition of the fragrance

Enliven your senses with the uplifting opening of tart blackcurrant and zesty citrus before it gently evolves into a seductive blend of sensual jasmine and earthy patchouli, all while retaining its crisp and invigorating fruity aroma. The fragrance stays radiant for hours, gradually revealing a luxurious base of warm cedar, creamy sandalwood, supple leather, and musky oakmoss.

This stuff just keeps dropping in price lately. It was £120… £100… £80 now… £60-70 soon???
    (Maybe even less?)

What’s pop opinion? Buy this? Or any other recommendations?

It just puts me off buying as I am not too fussy about a particular signature scent. Right now I’m using PR Million EDP 200ml / AdP Colonia Essenza EDC 100ml - picked them both up on sale for £50/£75 respectively. (edited)

As mentioned when you posted this previously - all Mancera fragrances eventually get to the £60 - £70 mark. I think days of sub £60 are gone unless a clearance.

I'm a big fan of this and the original, but I would suggest testing / sampling to see if it's your bag. (edited)

Heat. Plus it’s the intense version

I'm sure I read/YouTube'd that the intense lasted as long as the standard.

It lasts about 20 - 30% longer than the original. Sits closer to the skin and is slightly darker though

I find the original (pre-reformulation) too strong and loud. If I didn't like the original, would I like this?

    Probably not

Very good price for the Intense version. Personally I prefer the original. To my nose something smells a little 'off' with this, probably because I hate most ouds, which this has and the original doesn't.

    Did someone say OUD

Great price for this. This one is quite possibly my all-time fav. Heat from me.

Just purchased the original from notino. Something odd is that the bottle batch number has been scratched off and replaced with a sticker. Would mancera do this? Sometimes I like to check the batch date to see when a fragrance was made.

    Edit
So after googling the issue I have seen a number of posts state similar things. Something to do with grey market dealers wanting to make fragrances origins untraceable ( they are still real though). I don’t know if notino are classed as grey market but I will avoid buying niche fragrances from them from now on.

This is particularly annoying because you can’t check the batch date for when the fragrance was produced, and will be harder to sell on, I wouldn’t be surprised if buyers were worried about legitimacy due to batch code being scratched off. (edited)

That's a bit concerning. I bought mine from Notino years ago. It's a screw cap. It has a batch code at the bottom of the bottle but was illegible. Same for the code on the box. Barely visible. Fragrance is good though. (edited)
