Kids would need to be below 4 years of age as school term.

The adult cost is same as normal £439pp which is the norm for this one until it gets closer than they may reduce to fill the ship up.

As an ex teacher I can confirm, just take you kids out of school. A week will make no difference. If anything it may benefit them on their return.

It's not really about you is it though.
It's about the education of your child.

Not sure I can vote this hot after seeing all the negativity from r1mmer3

Those poor children going on a holiday. How will they ever catch up? (edited)

Feel for all those traumatized adults expecting a child free cruise during term time.

Absolute carnage last October with feral kids and parents not much better.

They need a new limited drinks package for anyone on a cruise with kids along with a curfew for both kids and parents so proper adults can enjoy their cruise.

    😁

Former teacher of nearly 15 years and a parent of 4 kids. (Have 2 tattoos - not hand, face, neck - as this might be deemed important on here). The taking kids out of school is far more nuanced than anyone saying it's right or wrong or judging parents solely on that basis. It's about individual and societal expectations, aspirations and what people deem as important or what they consider markers of 'success' 'status' 'contentment' etc. We took our 5 and 7 year old out of school for 3 months, in which time they visited Scotland, Iceland, Norway, Spain, France and around our local area and we feel that the immersive learning and developmental experience, as well as the extended quality family time and interaction they experienced was greater (net) than the education they'd have received at school over the same period. That's not to denigrate school, who do a great job and form a significant and important (but not the only) part of their development and education; the gains were greater than the losses in our opinion and have no regrets about the choices we made on behalf ourselves and kids. By any measure, our kids are funny, kind, conscientious and intelligent and school does contribute to that, however it's not the sole contributor. One of the cruises we went on was very busy with loads of kids aboard and a minority were running riot and causing some discomfort and inconvenience for some other passengers which was unfortunate - the vast majority of these children were on summer break from Scottish/Irish schools so there was a responsibility for (particularly) English passengers to do their research or acknowledge they were caught out having not considered dates across the union! A small number of passengers behaved pretty poorly at times, constantly drunk, loud, selfish and obnoxious and there were some incidents which led, on more than one occasion, to arrests and removal from the ship at the next stop. A numer of these were parents so by the measure of some on here, it would stand that parents who take their children on a cruise during the summer holidays are loutish, violent and irresponsible. On our early June cruise a very small number of children were aboard with some parents choosing to take their children out of school, and the atmosphere and behaviour of all the parents and children, from our observations, impeccable throughout - we never saw any incident of note and no unsavoury behaviours or confrontations etc. I guess then that all parents who take their kids put of school in term-time are paragons of virtue who's children are wonderfully behaved???

In all seriousness, what I will say is that the ship and the cruise has the potential and facilities to give a great family experience for the most part. Unfortunately (for some), this does mean that a small minority find an opportunity for themselves to combine an unlimited premium alcoholic drinks package with 14hrs per day childcare which obviously a small minority abuse in terms of it negatively impacting others' experience. There's also plenty of adults without kids getting smashed non stop and generally causing a nuisance (every single day) (edited)

Dont think so. The prices are dynamic as are the promotions, ie kids for 99 so the price has obviously changed although that's not to say it won't change again (in fact it certainly will)
