wow a lot of misinformation about rice
it does not matter where it comes from but the taste is important and the length of the rice grain
yes even rice is jealous of other rice length
kohinoor is a top quality rice as is Tilda
    from Pakistan and India
    so what
both are top quality rice grown in punjab fed with waters of the himalayas
    however the best is zebra
it is also the most expensive
a leading brand in USA and middle east
but price is a put off
then comes kohinoor and tilda and 1 other but I forgot the name
the price is in the middle
    then comes your badshah
    laila akash and others
    these are priced better
and these are what I buy except when the better ones are on offer
yes size matters but it is what you do with it that is more important

India's export ban is only on non-basmati rice

Is classic really the same as kohinoor gold?

not sure tbh but gold should be better than classic with the platinum being that best. must be due to grain size or length.
