    My opinion:

There's no point going for 4k at 60hz. You get better gains at 2.5 165hz and its less heavy on the GPU.

    I'd either go for 27/28" at 2160x1440 and 165hz (2.5k) or go for the Red Eagle 34" (4k, 165hz) at £345.

What about for office tasks, creativity, or casual games... don't need 100+ Hz there, surely? (edited)

You always need 165hz more than you need 4k! (Granted, you need neither for many tasks)

    amazon.co.uk/iiy…BDG or ebuyer.com/161…-b5 - £6~ more expensive on ebuyer, but that's a legit company.

Friend of mine just got one for his new pc; it's lovely. I'm very tempted myself but have decided the Dell S2722DGM is good enough for now after spending £1700 on the pc. (on sale too here currently - nice monitor)

Few things to note about VA: If either of the following are true, go for IPS. If not, VA is just fine. If you're pushing to the £700~ price point, consider OLED.

    1. If you're competitive gaming, the latency IS higher - the 1ms thing is misleading and nonsensical
    2. If you can't view the monitor straight ahead or close to straight (mine is offset left a bit and fine due to dual monitors) (edited)

Hmmm, not working for me, trying to add the SE3223Q and getting the message
'xxxxx is valid code, but isn't applicable to any items in your cart.'
