i purchased one of these in April from this company , all I will say is that the customer service is impeccable ,I had a unit that went faulty after 4 months ,within 48 hours I had a replacement unit sent out to me , service doesn't get better than that

This unit consumes 40% more electricity than the the Delonghi EX100 posted here. Pennywise, pound foolish IMO.

Unless you live in a desert I don't think a normal UK individual will rank up comparative time. Mines about 1kw which is 200w off that which is like 6p a hour or something... 5,000 hours to rank up the £300 difference.

Got this model last October for £120 new (eBay). Prices fell sharply once the weather turned. Would be tempted to wait as it’s not likely there’ll be a heatwave until next year.

Why would anyone in Britain want one of these

    You not around last year?

Temps in my house were reaching 40 degrees, you try working in that.

Summer is almost over. Might as well wait till winter when these will be up for £150.

Seen a lot of these on offer lately.
Why? Because they are expensive to run.

Low end units typically leak refrigerant if sitting idle for months. Distributors want to clear stock for next season.
