Is the bezel very thin? I'm going to be using it for a vertical monitor

AOC Q27P2CA 27" IPS LED QHD Monitor - Black - at £169.99 on ebay (NEW) - which seems a comparable deal and comes highly by 'expert' reviews.

Likely the same panel but I prefer Dell's warranty and not dealing with eBay.

I bought this last time it was on offer on here, fantastic monitor.

    Is this good with MacBooks?

It depends what you are looking to achieve from a monitor.
This is 27", most common size is 24". The bigger the better obviously but it would depend on the size of your desk for example. Also this has more pixel count so youlll get a bit more space when working on spreadsheets or applications which needs real estate space.

What's the difference between the S2722DC and the U2722D ?
    iainl7's avatar
I don’t know that specific one (I stepped up to the 4K one) but the U series are the UltraSharps - so better colour accuracy, usually better black levels, but at the cost of refresh rate; this is a 75Hz panel, not the 60Hz you find in the U series.

Split between this and S2722QC for use with MacBook.

Is the 1440p “that blurry” and is the 4K that much of a performance hit with the resolution scaling on mac? (edited)

Have bought the 4K version .

I have one of these and it's been great - perfect for home working with a laptop with a USB C output as you can run dual monitors and keep your laptop charged by the single USB C cable. Fantastic value at this price (I paid a lot more for mine).

That's great! I'm looking for a similar setup, how do you run two of these monitors from one USB C cable?
