Thanks. £4 is ridiculous now. The only mayonnaise i tend too like and have tried many. Heat! Grabbing a few for this price.

I didn't see that thread, so would've been unaware of this offer without you posting your thread, so have some heat from me. If the Mods have a problem with it, just tell them it's OK with me.... (edited)

Why is this so expensive, compared to say the ALDI version which is 95p and tastes pretty good?

Surely, they are all made of the same ingredients (egg for example).

You're paying for the brand... you take the brand name away from the bottle it will be cheap as chips.. (edited)

Individual deals, that aren't within the title of the other deal are mostly fine! Heat added 💪

Is there nicer mayo than this out there? I hardly use any before it goes nasty, so want something better quality, in smaller bottlea

Try the one at Food Warehouse. They are 3 for £3. Delicious taste. I've literally switched over from Heinz since discovering it.

How does this compare with low fat salad cream ?

This is 70g/100g fat, would recomend Bramwells light Mayo from Aldi, it's 95p and 25g/100g fat.

I’ve just been to Sainsbury’s in Halifax. Anything Heinz related left huge holes on the shelves so if you are going to the shops specifically for this deal, prepare to be disappointed!

Thanks for the reminder 🫣 I’d had an email from Sainsbury’s & totally forgot about it ! Click n collect order just done with over £20 worth of savings! Mayo, beans & ketchup a must in our household

Even at £2 it's still over priced. If people stop buying it then they will lower the price to something that is back to normality. And before people start on the band wagon about cost of ingredients going up etc, other companies are making this at a lot lower price and still making a profit.

I used to swear by Heinz mayonnaise, that was until I examined some of my snobbish life choices due to the cost of living crisis.

Now I'm happy to pay half or less than this and go with the Aldi or Lidl equivalent. It's probably not quite as good but heck I can't really tell the difference. I'd encourage anyone to actually just give some of the cheaper brands a try in the case of Mayonnaise.

Sold out in Prestwick, but replaced my online delivery with Hellmans.

To be fair, I've tried another brand and it was the look of it that put me off.

First, it was like bright/neon white (I didn't know it could be neon white until I saw this mayo).
Secondly, the consistency of it was like gel (like gel toothpaste consistency).

At least with this Heinz one, it was a creamy texture.

To be fair, the taste was nearly the same, and if I closed my eyes I wouldn't care. I thought I'd treat myself to a bit of Heinz this round. Afterwards, I'll go back to my cost-effective means (ie. save some of the sachets that I get when I go to KFC).

Did you happen to be drunk and put a load of Oral B on your chips?
