Whether you’re camping, hiking or enjoying a family picnic, our portable design allows you to zap anytime, anywhere. Featuring a super-bright built-in LED, you can even use it at night for 24-hour protection.
For quick, convenient charging, plug your racket into any USB device with the included cable. As powerful as it is efficient, the built-in Lithium battery offers up to 10,000 zaps on a single charge.
With an activation button and glowing indicator light, there’s no need to worry about accidental zapping. There’s even a triple-layer safety mesh, offering extra protection when the racket is electrified.
Thanks to an ergonomic, lightweight design, our racket provides comfort and control. The large frame makes it easy to target pests, and cleanup is as effortless as shaking or brushing dead bugs off the net.

Still are in the quid shops. And... Yes, still available, before anyone jumps in... Lol

If you take the tennis racquet bit off, and attach a tea strainer instead, you can make a handy device for scattering static grass onto a model railway layout. Probably easier to use a pound shop one though, this looks a bit fancy, lights and all. Plenty of instructions online.

Most random comment I've read today. To make sure I re-read it

I'm no electrician, but is a 4000 volt grid real/safe?

It is not the volts that are dangerous.

It is the amps that kill.

The prices on these are obscene, that's not a hot deal! You can still find them cheap in shops. Also I find that this style with the "protective" mesh above does not work as well. Sometimes it's just the force of my swing that injures more than the electricity of the racket. My older ones (£1) had a much simpler just horizontal charged rods and are dropping those flies much easier. (edited)

They are cruel - I know they are only flies but this just burns their wings off and you still have to dispose of a wriggling body.

    So they become a walk?

I've got this, and it only stuns the fly. Anything smaller than a fly, it will fry it to a crisp.

Lies. Give it a charge or its faulty

I tried one of these 'cheaper ones' and not got on well. IMHO the original Executioner amazon.co.uk/Sou…MJA would be a better investment.

What's USB charging got to do with that? Also typically these are modded into cattle prod type devices not hand devices.

insect spray is better in my opinion, one spray and they drop down onto the floor paralysed for you to finish it off :). bug zappers require lots of effort to catch em

Opening yourself up to an Agent Orange style disaster there. I found a normal tennis racquet works fine. Plus it gives you a chance to work on that backhand.

What type of internal battery do these contain and can’t it be replaced?

Get a 1 or 2L bottle, cut the top 1/4 off, turn upside down and put into the bottle, fill with sugar water, bits of fruit cut up and leave near a window.

Would that not attract more flies & wasps?

You can pick these up from pound shops.
