It’s currently £99, bit the bullet and booked. If anyone who’s been there before has any recommendations on activities I’m open to ideas. First holiday with the missus

If you walk to the back of the site you can walk down to the beach and all the way to the town centre.  When the tide is in you’ll have to walk over the cliffs.

There’s a bar on the beach called The Watering Hole and a few pubs dotted round the beachfront.  There is a small Perranporth Museum that’s worth a look (free last time I went).  In the sand dunes behind the site there is an old oratory/church ruins.  There’s a few bars on site.  Bus goes to Newquay down the road if you want to visit there too.

Very good deal. Decent holiday. Excuse me if you read this as Spam but please never buy a static caravan and if anyone you know is thinking about it, search Holiday Park Action Group on Facebook. Plenty enough horror stories to put you off ownership. Great for holidays though (edited)

Does anybody know which one is preferable, Devon Cliffs or this site? Many thanks

We’ve been to Perran Sands in October for the past 2 years and it’s been brilliant, and always managed to drop on good weather.

This is a really good site, walk straight down to the beach and to town when the tide is out.

    Just booked, what a nightmare.
    All forms of payment rejected.
After half an hour waiting to get through on the phone it turns out that the tick box for billing address same as booking address doesn't copy the actual address, just something close, hence all forms of payment being rejected.
    Rant over

Haven, I do not recommend stinking, dirty caravans .Incompetent customer service, we reported that the caravan is dirty and smelly, we got a reply that they don't have any other houses, but they can give you your money back and leave the campsite.Don't waste your free time with them because you will only get stressed and nervous.

Couldn’t disagree more, been to this site 6 or 7 times now and never had a bad experience
