This is good however the app is rubbish.

You cannot separate sounds for motion or doorbell.

So the phone is in you pocket it makes a sound but it's the same sound.
So you have to constantly look to see what it is.

When someone pressed the door you get a notification and Sound. You have to look at the notification to see if it detected motion or someone rang the bell.

If you click on the notification you are simply launched into the app and then you have to select the doorbell and select the microphone ro talk to someone.

The video is delayed so you get a bit confused.

If you own a z fold or any folding android the app cannot handle when you open the app into a bigger screen or rotate the phone.

    Otherwise it's good.

Assuming this is on Android, do you know about notification categories? E.g. I had the same issue as you with my Ring doorbell but then I changed the 'Front Door Ring Alerts' to have a different notification sound (from Motion Alerts) and now it's very obvious to me which is which!

You get to this screen by Settings > Apps > Reolink > Notifications

Let us know what you see! A screenshot would be handy as I'm thinking about this doorbell

Great doorbell. Bear in mind this is the PoE version so you will need to run a network cable from a PoE switch, PoE injector or NVR in order to power it. For most people the Wi-Fi version for a few pounds more is probably the better choice as you can power it using existing doorbell wiring as long as your transformer supports it (12-24v ac). You can add an SD card if you want the doorbell to constantly record (or better yet a reolink NVR) (edited)

This is good but there’s no distinction between a doorbell push and a motion detection.

This means you won’t know if someone’s at your door unless you manually check every notification.

They are all at it though don't just silo China or reolink. You got children making the clothes you wear too. Ignorance is fine when it's cheap right

I added this to my NVR setup. Very pleased with it via PoE. No more bulls**t post man excuses that couldn't collect / deliver.

Positive reviews, and seems to come out on top for most of the quality comparisons. Mine should arrive today to replace my ring.
    Subscription is not required

These are excellent, I just put in a 128mb card. You will need a power injector, cheap enough on amazon

Can confirm it's a great little door bell.
    Especially with home assistant/frigate.
I would not recommend the POE to anyone who doesn't already have it.
Basically means pulling a cable to the front door and have a POE injector.
So limited use case. But great and £20 less than when I bought it. If I only I had more doors on the house...

Good quality camera, would be nice if you could purchase a second chime unit, it can support upto 5, you just can't buy them though.
