    The Verge
    THE GOOD
    • Thin and light build
    • Unique lid design
    • Useful port selection
    • OLED screen
    • All-day battery life (!)
    • Good single-core performance

    THE BAD
    • Gets quite loud under heavier workloads
    • Finicky touchpad
    • Weak audio
    • Loaded with some annoying bloatware
    • Key travel on the low side

    Notebook check

The largest problem of the new Zenbook is represented by the fans that produce a very high-frequency noise even at low speed levels. This is simply annoying, even during everyday tasks. We therefore also lowered the evaluation in this category. Although the performance is good in many areas, we can hardly recommend the new model for this reason.

I would say you can put it on 'silent' mode which does result in more heat but keeps the annoying fan noise down

Could have been an almost great laptop with the 13.3 inch screen. Unfortunately the offending Ryzen CPU put me off! Sorry can't say more than that!

Ignore this guy everyone, he's on a constant trolling mission.

This or galaxy book3 pro 360?

Edit: 60Hz is a no from me (edited)

They're quite different propositions right? Isn't the book3 360 pro around twice the price?

I've got this in pink, not beige as they call it. Excellent for light gaming and lightweight working with good battery life. It could do with more ram. You'll need a USB hub for HDMI etc as there's only usb c ports.

More powerful than a steam deck and the screen is excellent. I'd get non touch screen though as there's a visible layer for the touch feature.

Had one of these for a bit, gets very warm doing basic stuff, and even though the APU should be able to handle most modern games to a certain degree, thanks to the slower than optimal RAM, and the ability to only assign up to 2GB as VRAM, it chugs in most things that a handheld with the same APU can usually smash.
Great for productivity stuff, light games maybe, and the screen is gorgeous.
