Yet another monitor post...

Hi all,

I'll keep this brief. I am after a new monitor. I don't play games, but I do watch and edit a lot of content. I have a 4K screen on my Dell XPS. I have read waaaay too much about monitors and seem to be going round in circles. I have a budget (I'd like to keep it under £300 if possible), but I don't really use a TV so I am willing to spend a little more to get a decent monitor that I can watch streaming services on (so a small screen might not be ideal). I like the whole curved monitor thing, but as I don't play games I am not sure if this is better or worse for me.

The recent Dell post here for their G2724D 27" looks great, but am I missing out by not going for a 4K screen?

I found this Lenovo at Argos for £329.99 where everyone else seems to be selling it for £399.99 argos.co.uk/pro…687 - how does this compare? Worth the extra £££?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be gratefully received.

Since you have a laptop with a 4k screen, logically, you would definitely appreciate at least that resolution on a larger display.

For 4k, you should be looking at 27/28" upwards; typically 32" plus if native resolution (no scaling).

That Lenovo looks fine. If you keep an eye on deals, you may save a few pounds.

Thanks buddy. Are there any strong recommendations for a 4K screen in/around that price bracket? (edited)

Adding some more detail from my research...

    IPS would be ideal
    4K would be ideal
    32" would be ideal
    Curved screen would be ideal
    USB-C connectivity would be ideal
