VictoriaPlum.com administration - anyone else in a situation with orders?

Hi all,

So want to put this out to: A) inform people of what's happening / B) assess my situation.

I ordered a shower door from them on the 26th September. I've been trying to sort out a return/exchange (and avoid their ridiculous £49.99 collection fee) and then the web chatbot tells me on the 3rd October that as my order is before Oct 1, they have gone into administration and can't help.

Is anyone else in this position? I have this door that I don't need and want to return but apparently they're gone (BUT WARNING FOR ALL: THEY ARE STILL SELLING ON THE WEBSITE!). However, I did read that they had been acquired so I'm not sure if they'll pick up the slack...there's just no information.

Any info/advice anyone has is greatly appreciated.

    Did you pay by credit card? Could do a chargeback and let them know they're free to pick it up?

    Smartz. I did - I should look into that. Would the CC not ask about what happened, or open it as a case? It was with Halifax Clarity

    Phew had to double check If I had ordered from them or victorian pluming.

    Wow I guess the fees for Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen to appear in their ads put them over the edge!
    Or is that a different company? (Victoria Plumbing)
