Damn good find there a good dye from timpsons for £6 and change colour to any you like! I’ve done the last x2 walking boots which were vile brown to black no problem

Good deal, but not a great colour for walking boots

Colour issues aside, merrell’s Moab line is fantastic and my go to for outdoor footwear. Very tempted by these but what are they going to look like after use…

Simply buy it and don't use it.

Nothing a decent set of marker pens won’t fix

Look up "dying trainers" on YouTube if you want a project if not cover in a good protector and don't wear in muddy fields. Easy process and results are incredible for dying if done properly.

I'm a size up in Merrell if that helps anyone (with standard width feet). (edited)

Are these generally true to size? I like wearing some thicc hiking socks as well

My experience says size up for mid weight socks

Good deal but careful on the sizing with Merrell Moab 3s. I paid £100 for a pair of these a few months ago and got size 12 because I'm a size 12 in every other shoe, but it turns out these were too big. Covered my feet with blisters when I hiked in them.

When I saw this deal I thought great, I can get a cheap size 11.5, dye them and flog my size 12 in almost new condition for more than these are going for. Except now it seems the highest size available is size 11. I think 11 would be too tight.

Crazy as I always need a size up in Merrell. Must be shape of foot
