So i ended up ordering one of these even though it doesnt necessarily tick all the boxes for what i was after its a great monitor for the price point and to my suprise its actually a true IPS screen. Colours are great out of the box and no backlight bleed on my panel or any stuck pixels. Only cons i can come up with are the OSD menu is a bit clunky (i'm used to LG) and theres no black level adjustment.

Also just wanted to point out the stand isnt half as bad as people make it out to be. Yes it wobbles if you knock the table but thats pretty much any oem stand. Also has a built in phone holder which is really nice for working from home.

    Just the stand, I think.

I have the same with a different stand. It’s a Samsung panel and it’s nice and sharp with good colours.

I bought this monitor back in April. It seemed the best bang for buck for a 4K IPS monitor for work.

Overall I like it. It gets bright enough and gives me plenty of space to design and code.

The stand is fully adjustable, but the main downside for me is the stand is a bit too wobbly, side to side. I've learned to live with it, but you may want to consider the additional cost of a VESA mount before buying.

Months ago, I also had an incident with the monitor flickering, which simply resolved itself overnight. Strangely, at the same time, the monitor's resolution also defaulted to 1080p, making me think it was probably a one-off software glitch, rather than a faulty backlight. Not had the issue since.

You could try sticking 4 felt feet to the base for the wobbliness

How does this compare to a proper IPS screen ? i see its a WLED panel based on IPS whatever that means. Doubtful it could match IPS colours which is why i've held off buying other than it seems a good monitor for the moneys

Is this any good for gamers?
    drkdeath5000's avatar
Its decent enough for console gaming upto 60hz but i'd look for something a little better ideally 120hz for gaming
