Thermal curtain linings - do they keep room warmer?

As per title really.

Cold days are approaching and looking to see what I can do to increase comfort.

Thanks in advance

Yes, I can confirm they absolutely do. I live in modern and well built detached bungalow which has double patio doors in the living room. Despite double glazing, the effect of cold glass, particularly in winter evenings, creates a slight circulation of cold air.

Using full length (must actually touch the carpet) thermal curtains transforms things noticeably. Go for it! 😁

I have thick thick curtains guess there thermal, but a guy came around and it showed why heat escape though all walls the curtains I had help to keep heat in quite good

These are our double glazed patio doors, I do think if we had thick curtains that "sealed" them it might stop some cold air, but suspect it would be negligible.
