Problem with Greenjinn

Looks like Greenjinn is in financial difficulty and their customer service is none existent. They rejected my h&b claim twice despite a valid receipt, wrote to them via email, through the web, via twitter - no response. So I stopped redeeming for any new products from them. So word of warning to anyone who still uses them - be prepare for your claims to be rejected without reason at all and that could be the final. Because they don't respond to any forms of contact. There is also a risk that they may be going out of business anytime soon by the way they are acting at the moment. They used to be great and payment was quick but now you wait for weeks and worry if its going to be ever paid. Has anyone else is affected by them?

We have to boycott them by stop using their app until they sort out their issue from their end. It's just pure ignorance from their side which is very annoying!

Only had one claim rejected and that was one excuse after another, none of them credible. I did wonder if that meant they were in financial difficulty but other family members who claimed did get paid so who knows?

I was thinking they had staffing issue at the time of summer holidays but even then they still managed to respond but what could be the issue now? So if the system they use reject your claim that could be it as there is no customer service at all.

While payment requests take much longer than they used to (up to two weeks lately) I only had an issue with one claim which I needed to resubmit. The email response times are too long though - my query from 29 August was replied to only on 17 October!

"Thank you for reaching out. Really sorry for the delay in our response as we are currently experiencing a very high volume of emails and are working our way through each and every enquiry as soon as we can. I hope you understand.

I just checked and you're right. There must have been a glitch with the system as the receipt failed to have been uploaded in the system. I'm so sorry about that.

Although it appears you were able to resubmit and this has now been accepted by the system?

If there's anything else I can be of assistance with, just let me know.

    Regards,
    Alyssa from the GreenJinn Team"

They rejected my claim twice by saying the system doesn't recognise it and asked to resubmit but no link is given. That is frustrating and they dont respond to your enquiry. So I just decided to stop using them for now until they respond because we don't know what is going on and with a lot of companies are going out of business. Looks like they cant afford to hire more staff which make me think are they going out of business? There some bad reviews on trustpilot (edited)

Problem is their cash out now takes weeks! They could be out of business by the time cashback is paid. Something is seriously wrong with them at the moment...

Weird. Just tried submitting a receipt and it came back with "Action Required - your receipt didn't make it to our system"

Tried a few times, same response every time.

Maybe the app really has died. (edited)

Submitted a receipt last night, claimed it this afternoon and it was paid just before 5pm, with what looks like a new payment provider.

Less than 20 hours from receipt submission to payment has to be some kind of record.

Yes, looks like there is a new payment provider but still absence of customer service. I submitted perfect ted drinks bought from tesco which are on daily offer and on 21 and 23 November still not been accepted by their system, on " progressing". Hopefully it still be approved.

Greenjinn is the weirdest app I've ever used. At times it works flawlessly, with claims accepted in seconds and paid in less than a day. But last week they scandalously changed the terms of an offer in the few hours between buying and claiming, and refuse to answer any method of contact.

I'd advise everyone to steer well clear of them, and certainly never buy anything just because a discount/freebie is being offered, as chances are by the time you come to claim, the discount will have changed completely.
