Samsung-Apple

Been an avid Apple use for years (everything apple) but have always liked the Samsung flip phones, recently bought a new build pc for gaming, of course Windows because Apples crap for good gaming and I'm enjoying the windows gaming PC its changed a lot since I last used XP anyhow the thing I love about my Apple mobile is that it just sends all my pics and vids over to my desktop seamlessly but I don't know if a Samsung flip-fold mobile can do the same one so any samsung users out there that could offer me some advice I would greatly appreciate it, thank you

I couldn't transfer photos and videos easily to my pc from my iPad. I had to do through iTunes rather than just copy and paste so it was very fiddly.

I prefer android devices as I could just plug it into my pc and my pc thinks it is an external drive, like a usb stick, so I can happily copy and paste files easily to and fro the two device devices. No need to faff around with ITunes.

You can copy and paste from iPad to PC. Once trusted you can access via Windows File Explorer (ie the usual folder/file program). I’ve been doing it for years with iPad and iPhone.

May be controversial buy I've never been a slave to apple, with android you have far more choice of phones and you can use micro sd cards for more storage rather than pay through the nose for an iPhone with bigger storage. Just my opinion like I said controversial.

Not many phones have Micro SD slot these days. Sony have stuck with it but other manufacturers have been phasing them out.

It depends, with android you have choice. For example you could use Onedrive, Google Drive or another app to backup your photos. You then install the same app on your PC. The photos will sync between devices. It's a little more work but may work out depending on your preference. Apple is made as an all in one device. I would say the flip device won't be on par with an iPhone. Not a fair fight, you would need to look at the upcoming flagship Galaxy S24...
