Edit, apologies. Just received pan and tested on Bosch induction hob. It is very light in the hand, was not detected on 18cm rings and did not work on them. It does work on the 14cm rings, but not particularly well. Magnet test revealed a doughnut of presumably thin steel in the pans base. Returning mine as clearly kerapp.

Original post referred to existing 20cm Ninja frying pan being fine. However that's the more expensive and clearly far better stainless steel version.

Any honest reviews from people who got these over prime day?
    Shoppaholic16's avatar
I’m quiet happy with mine. I wouldn’t say zerostick like advertised, I’ve had to add a little oil to cook the egg as the first one without oil did stick. But overall seems like a good quality frying pan
  2. dale86uk's avatar
Only PFOA free, not PFAS free.
Be careful of that nasty stuff.
    hello789's avatar
WOW thanks for this, I was about to buy these pans...!!! Many thanks.

People, stop buying these pans and voting this hot...!
  3. Newbold's avatar
Just a warning to anyone with an induction hob. Like so many aluminium pans, this one's claimed to work, but it's very obvious from the reviews that it doesn't.

Aluminium pans like this very rarely work with induction hobs - if ever.
    darren.mackay's avatar
I bought one on prime day and works just fine on my induction hob?
  4. chickensoup's avatar
Probably a stupid question....but the size of the pan, does that refer to the width of the base of the pan or the width across the top?
    Pluh's avatar
Across the top. 30cm pan has 20cm base.
  5. deleted1945554's avatar
Not voting either way, but we never purchase non-stick frying/sauce pans as they will eventually end up in the bin, no matter what the manufacturer claims. The coating will disintegrate sooner or later and end up in your food for your gastronomic enjoyment.

It's a false economy, particularly when one can purchase a slightly more expensive pan which will last a lifetime. Up to you. (edited)

Which one you have in mind? Copper?
  6. DJ.Mole's avatar
My only complaint with mine is that they say you can use no oil to cook an egg, this doesnt work haha
    Crossbow's avatar
Are you heating the pan well enough & for long enough before putting the egg/s in?
Try a medium heat for at least 5-6 mins, then put the egg/s in that are at room temperature. If the egg bubbles straightaway, it's hot enough.
If not, raise the temperature a notch or two before the second attempt.
Let us know how you get on...

I almost ordered, so glad checked out reviews before. There are lots of pohoto about peeling of coating after a few months of use.
    Newbold's avatar
Not to worry. 10 year warranty if registered.
  8. ansonuk1's avatar
I'm always suspicious about Shark/Ninja who rely on social media bigging up to market their products . They don't manufacture anything themselves but farm out to whatever Asian sub contractor is doing this weeks cheapest deal.
    uchman365's avatar
Almost all companies outsource their manufacturing in China. None of them actually "own" any manufacturing facility over there because those factories also produce for several other brands.
  9. davej1710's avatar
Says oven safe to 180c in the images but 260c in the description (I'm assuming that's hob only) but reviews mention oven safe up to 260c.
Any owners confirm what the official oven safe max is please? Thanks.
    Newbold's avatar
There are two versions. The cheaper one (£11.99) is oven-proof to 180 degrees, and the dearer (£20) one to 260 degrees. The actual pan appears to be identical, but the handles are different.

What's the healthiest pans to cook with to get nothing in your food keep hearing things about poisoning etc
    Colin85's avatar
IMO... Hard Anodised pans are the best. Less oil and literally never sticks. A good set can last you years and years. Cast iron is also good, but some people can't stand talking care of them with seasoning
  11. Pavels_Kozemjakins's avatar
Poor quality. Very light and thin. Zerostick premium is much better, heavier and twice thicker.
  12. Alvie's avatar
Oh, this is the pan that someone in America is suing because they don't believe it was manufactured at up to 17,000°C (30,000 °F):

Can anyone comment on its induction hob compatibility ??
    doppel_dage's avatar
Work perfectly on a Neff induction. Great quality couldn’t recommend enough.
  14. _g_'s avatar
How do these compare to Tefal for non-stickability?
    shamus1975's avatar
Much better and the temperature they are made at is a lot higher hence the ten year non stick gaurantee
  15. Jawz's avatar
Got the 28cm Frying Pan from the next range up for Ninja on the Amazon sale for £22.
Only prob is its 28cm from edge to edge, however the inside that you actually cook bacon on is around 23cm. I thought I was vetting a much bigger pan than my old 20cm one, but this just has bigger flared sides.

Is this just marketing with pans? I want to know the size of the base, I'm buying a frying pan not a wok...I need to know how many slices of bacon I can fit in it!
  16. paul.oconnor's avatar
Mine works on induction. Came dented off amazon tho.
    Newbold's avatar
    What make induction hob?
  17. opticnerd's avatar
Is the base flat throughout? Meaning if I place a small ball in the centre will it stay or roll to the edge?
Reason I ask is my current one isn't flat so causes a fried egg to slide to the edge.
    Thanks!
    chenzz's avatar
hahaha. That's the only complaint I had for the wok.
It's NOT flat, with higher centre and lower edge.
Had to dig out the egg rings I've bought years ago to do the fried egg properly.

anyone know the difference between the classic and premium range?
    Jawz's avatar
There are 3 important differences that distinguish them and step up to the Premium line which are the following: a strong, hard-anodized exterior, a premium stainless steel handle ergonomically designed for comfort, a heavy-gauge aluminum base.

    This is just aluminum.
The above is the middle difference.
Then the top premium is the same design of pan, slightly thicker again, but has a solid handle range than hollow.
  19. Silhouette78's avatar
Anyone know what material they use on this? Is it cast iron or

Hi, just alerted me to this fact and I am NOT buying these pans!

Only PFOA free, not PFAS free.
Be careful of that nasty stuff.

Missed these on prime day. Thanks op, just ordered.
  24. Honcho's avatar
Just return it, if it doesn’t work on your hob instead of asking what brand everyone’s hobs are. 🤫

Returns to Amazon score against you in their algorithm. Best avoided if at all possible.

Just ordered 28cm and 24cm. The delivery date on 24cm is late November FYI
    fossit's avatar
    Only on the 24cm

Bought these on Prime Day and impressed so far, but with frying pans claiming non-stick only time will tell. The Scoville pans were great at first too, then they turned to s*** billowing smoke all over the house.
  27. Gaurav_Aggarwal's avatar
That's the wife's birthday gift sorted.
    Crossbow's avatar
Just curious... are you hoping this will be less or more non-stick than the current pan she's using to batter you with?
  28. Arc's avatar
Nice. Shame its Amazon. Oh well, never mind, I'll wait until Ninja offers
  29. ohdearohdear's avatar
How do these compare to scoville?
  30. Star-Lord's avatar
Bought a couple of these on Prime Day. Excellent quality. Just remember, nothing is ever truly non-stick, you'll stick need something on there before cooking, no matter what the brand.
  31. dale86uk's avatar
Are these a health risk? Sounds like it.
    Newbold's avatar
All non-stick pans are a health risk. But then, so is most processed food.
  32. tneyugn's avatar
Someone please explain to me why this gets hot? With 18£, I could buy 2 pans, 20 and 24cm from ASDA! (edited)
    D_Evo's avatar
Hi, Been as you didn't say a brand, i will say that i brought Scoville Neverstick which is a brand sold by Asda. All i will say is iv tried 2 28cm pan's on the hope that the first 1 was just no good with the same result.
So i move on hoping for perfection
  33. KingCampo's avatar
Excellent pans, I'm using them on a gas hob
  34. Newbold's avatar
Interesting and mixed reports on working with induction hobs. Can anyone kindly share which makes they can confirm these work with?
    Bugwan's avatar
Only seem to be positive reports on here re induction except your comment, where is your negative experience from? Thanks

    Ty ordered.

Ty ordered 28cm and binned an old one which needed replacing

I would get the higher class - professional. Can heat up to 260° rather than 180° and can put in the oven. Still 50% off atm.
