Uses Palm Oil which is actually pretty healthy for you. There was this weird hate campaign against it because it's destroying the environment, but it is totally false. If they weren't growing Palm Oil, they'd be growing something else, the Palm has nothing to do with it, it just makes the most money.

I don't think anyone, with any iota of understanding, has claimed it's 'destroying the environment'.
What palm oil farms do is change the local landscape. For example, decrease biodiversity and therefore make it harder for indigenous species to survive. Among other problems of course. (edited)

The cost to reduce the jar size from 1kg to 950g, with all the retooling etc etc must be immense (paid for by us), all to deny us of those extra 50g and charge us extra for it.

Not just Nutella, virtually every foodstuff manufacturer (edited)

Actually it’s not. I consulted for one of the big providers… and they had 10 different bottle sizes for everything as each country had a different need. We spent about 2/3 years just rationalising them down.

Marmite under 100ml as my parents wanted it in hand luggage (long story about 10 years ago). (edited)

Quick google and this is £5.49 a 950g jar at tesco. So only saves a quid not worth bothering but cheers anyway.
