Well you could have the cheap disgusting chocolate ones from Poundland or an expensive make up/perfume one from Harrods, Selfridges etc. Possibly also one that relates actually to a nativity scene?

Hotel Chocolat is a nice one - various price points.

It really depends on what you're after. Are you looking for shepherds, donkeys, Wise Men? Because these days they're harder to find on the High Street.

    You could look here

Otherwise the Independent newspaper has a page on advent calendars - you can get them with tools inside, perfume, wine, chocolate, or even sex toys, and you can pay from a couple of quid to hundreds.

Exit advent calendar if you like escape rooms. Lego for kids. Or even this rubber duck one I found on Amazon? The recommendations can be endless...

we gave up with the diposable ones and now have a home made one donated by a lovely neightbour that can hold two chocolates (usually celebrations or Heros) into each pocket - the kids are just as excited and, if you buy the chocolates when they are on offer, it works out cheaper. The only caveat is that the chocolates in the large tubs seem to disappear a long time before Christmas (and possibly before November) - you have been warned!!
