It says 'Launch offer £539.99' just above the price listings for all console bundles. Wonder if this is a pricing error?

    Bloody good deal.

How much slimmer is the new PS5? My current PS5 is perfect size for eating my dinner off of and I'd hate to not have room for my drink and knife and fork!!

That will be the standard price when it's no longer on offer, the RRP of the console + RRP of the game as was the same with FC24 console when it came out, part of Sony's plan to sell 25m consoles this year as it's easier to give a free game than reduce the price of the console (it's not even Sony's game either)

    Thanks OP.

Managed to get the COD bundle and added on the Spider-Man 2 which brought it down to £431

Not sure why the Spider-Man bundle is £539 but getting the cod bundle and adding the Spider-Man game is £431.

Bagged it now but knowing my luck BF will have some mega deals on the PS5
    Semisky's avatar
I wanted to get this but didn't allow me to add Spidey game so went with dualsense controller for the same price.. hopefully they will honour it

Can anyone vouch for ee? The trust pilot reviews are pretty awful.

I've ordered from them twice. Once was a Chromecast and Google Hub Nest, it took nearly two weeks to dispatch my order. The second time was a PS5 with EA Sports FC 24 at the end of September (pre-order of EA Sports FC. That from placing the order to receiving it was 7 days. I would assume you'd get yours within 5 days should you place an order, because none of the games are pre-orders. EE Store are OK, just not as quick at getting your orders to you as most retailers. Don't expect Amazon speeds. Considering the deal waiting 5 days would be worth it IMO

'Slim' version looks a far bit smaller to me despite the reviewer saying it isn't :
    TheDoctor's avatar
LinusTechTips has a good video and he clearly shows both models and states himself its a significant upgrade in terms of size - also improvements to the IO.
  5. Cheeter's avatar
Small chance this ends up being the "slim" version as the deal is extremely close to this: kotaku.com/bg3…730

I think I'm still going to hold out for black friday though as I am more interested in GT7 than anything. Plus by then the slim will be released in the USA and we could get confirmation of release dates here
    mossmanfly's avatar
Tbh, no chance it's the "slim."

Select US retailers sometime in November, though, but it could be before MW3 on the 10th. Then, it is released globally after. So, Uk could not see models until later this year or even into 2024. Sony is exhausting all current stock 1st, so there's not any official release date. Once old stock is shifted, the new "slim" model becomes available. So, certain retailers may be ahead of others depending on what stock they have of the current model.

Plus, the box art is still the old model on the MW3 bundle. (edited)

    ZeeStar's avatar
No, that's too much. You need to go into the Bundle Deals on the deal page. It's the black controller that's on offer with the console for £421.
  7. the.porter's avatar
Good price probably coz of the slim release. This week in the uk
    vod's avatar
Slim is launched in US this month, not UK…
  8. CJC_'s avatar
Great price. Bought for my son for Xmas. He asked for the one without a disc but the memory seems the same on both so can't see this being an issue..hopefully..

Any tips on increasing the memory on this please? Is it a replacement SSD or a portable hard drive?
    husnainmohammad's avatar
There's an additional M.2 Slot for a SSD or you can use an external hard drive/SSD via USB/USB C
  9. Moar's avatar
Just got the console, but no extra controller. Order details still show both are being allocated. (edited)
    Shystie's avatar
Same boat here, emailed EE and they said it will be posted 'soon'.
  10. NeoDetail's avatar
Great deal. Not sure whether to wait for black Friday though
    DealMeIn's avatar
Could buy it now and see if any better deals come up on BF. If they do then return this one.
  11. tempt's avatar
I am looking at the PS5 Disc 24 Month Premium Plus edition and Spiderman 2 bundle which comes up to £638.25 after code. Is this a good deal?
    mossmanfly's avatar
PS+ Premium is £240 for the 2 years. So would make the console and Spider-Man 2 under £400.

Bare in mind that you can get cheaper PSN credit from places like Shopto that you can use to buy PS+ directly from the PS5. And Sony often have sales where PS+ is 25% cheaper.

And unless you want the Classics catalogue and the ability to Cloud Stream games on your PS5, then PS+ Extra could be all you need, and that's £20 cheaper for 1 year. (edited)
  12. gabesdad's avatar
I might be tempted by the slim version eventually, but think I’ll wait for at least one revision down the line in case hardware has any issues.

    Good deal otherwise.
    Dr_OmniSpank's avatar
Slim has the same nanometre as older ps5. All previous playstations, the slim version had smaller nanometre for improved performance.
  13. TrevorPH's avatar
It doesn't ship until the 10th so this may well be the slim. That's the day the rumoured slim+CoD is due to release in the USA.
    julian_williams_1988's avatar
Key word there is USA lol
  14. Jijin2's avatar
Ugh another bundle with a game I couldn't care less about

How much do you think I could flog COD for? (edited)
    Citizenkane345's avatar
I think it's a digital code, so I would say fast sale £40, optimum £50 I guess. The reviews of the game are not good this year!
  15. spenspuma's avatar
Cancelled my order...when I ordered it said dispatched 9th, now it says awaiting stock, expected 30th November!!

Disgusting...dont take my money and then tell me you've got no stock after all!!!
    Jalapeno_jelly's avatar
Mines gone from 30th to 13th now
  16. Faz_91's avatar
Just checked my order, updated to 13th nov now

EE store is absolute crap to buy from. Customer service is now of Vodafone proportions.
  18. RileyReid's avatar
Mine shows being picked at the warehouse, but this morning PayPal released the money back into my account and shows no transaction to EE.. not sure what's happening. Transaction is still showing in my PayPal account though. Any help would be appreciated before trying to contact EE. Thank you.
    _XAK's avatar
Mine done this aswell then a day later came back out paypal !! It's so frustrating dnt no if I'll get it or not xx
  19. JKH471135's avatar
Now got a seperate tracking number for the console after originally having one for the extra controller that was despatched Friday. Also got an email with the invoice for the complete order
  20. dvllio's avatar
Mine has been dispatched at 7am today (via ParcelForce) but the tracking isn't working yet.
    Fingers crossed.
    deleted449189's avatar
My experience of ParcelForce when I purchased a Series X from EE was actually ok, it’s just a shame that EE themselves are incapable of meeting pre-order release dates.
  21. craftycockney2011's avatar
Just received MW3 code from EE.
    creedjp's avatar
Same I think it's the code for these bonus items, the game code is usually in console box.

For a moment I read the deal asSony PS5 Disc + Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Bundle (Digital) + Spider-Man 2 + Dualsense Controller £421.39 - with code all for
    £389.49

    Wishful thinking!
    ash.riaz's avatar

Well that’s the kids Xmas sorted , was holding out for Black Friday but not sure you’ll find better than this , thanks OP 🙏 absolutely fantastic price
    TimChang's avatar
Call of duty is an 18 by the way
  26. dukey89's avatar
Presuming the cod mw3 comes as a code could hopefully sell that for close to £40. Making the ps5 and spiderman 2 very reasonable indeed
    Eadsy's avatar
Cod MW3 is a DC you won't get £40 for it. People are fuming about it.
  27. zenitsu's avatar
Coming out at £329.49 with staff discount!
    nbdelboy's avatar
    pls 🥹
  28. Ab001's avatar
Thanks OP. Like many others I was debating whether to go for this or hold out until Black Friday. I figured £421 for console, game and extra controller was too good to pass up. Hope I’m not wrong.
  29. dpb_69's avatar
Just got mine to. Now to stop myself from setting it up and to actually do some work
  30. Eamer's avatar
Call of Duty makes this a bit of a waste for me.
    dukey89's avatar
Yeah same, but it looks like it's a digital code that you could sell
  31. Saeed's avatar
    Ea fc24 bundle was cheaper £386 🤪
Jokes aside , amazing deal . No other retailers are coming close to this deal
  32. Sickyman678's avatar
Why are people fat shaming the PlayStation on here? That's not very nice playstation has feelings too you know! (edited)
  33. carterland68's avatar
I know others have said it’s defo not the slim model, but there’s a chance it could be. This bundle doesn’t exist anywhere else with the old version and I can’t see why EE of all places would have some exclusive bundle that no other game outlets have access too. It’s possible they’ve jumped the gun a bit by advertising it.

probably not, but to say it’s defo not going to be might be a bit premature.

    let’s see
    mossmanfly's avatar
Shopto has the same bundle with the same picture on the box.

The US has the updated Slim bundle.

Sony has already said it is releasing in the US 1st via select retailers, then rolling out globally.
  34. Leeham's avatar
To wait or not to wait…that is the question.
    Alex_Hankinson-Parr's avatar
I'm still going to wait, at worst the deals in 2-3 weeks will be as good as this one. They may be better.
  35. craftycockney2011's avatar
Ordered nice OP. I've been looking for a couple of weeks now as sons 14th is coming up in December.
  36. Faz_91's avatar
Nice find OP, picked up the Spider-Man deal
  37. vod's avatar

The Spider-Man 2 bundle for £431 is even better than the EA Sports FC 24 bundle I bought for £386.10 from them in September (edited)
