    I agree. I only go to ASDA to shop for free using the first scans, £5 coupons etc otherwise I wouldn't go near the absolute hellhole

    My problem with this rewards system is that all my local ASDA seem to lead lined so I can never get a signal on my app when I'm in there....

    I have the Asda app linked to two different accounts.
    The more recent one has this, while the older one doesn't.
    This is to draw newer customers in as with the newest app I also got the £5 cashback on first shop, plus another £5 or £6 with so many shops in dec. All in all £16 for doing little more than opening a new account (needs seperate email and mobile no).
    As Martin Lewis would say, go in and buy a single banana (edited)

    yes last month was by far the best for ASDA rewards. A free £5 voucher already in the app plus another £5 for scanning a banana...and then the occasional £1/£2 on the spinning wheel thingy!

    How do you know if you're eligible? The link just takes me to the Asda website, nothing saying yes or no to the offer.

    I have this offer in my app. Possibly because I’ve yet to make a purchase since installing the app?

    Take it I could just go to self-checkout and purchase three items and put them through one item per transaction to trigger the £6 cash pot?

    you could buy 3 bananas in separate transactions to trigger the £6 but you can only do one scan per day (edited)

    We need to have the account barcode along with the rewards voucher, otherwise they don't work

    I have used three separate asdas and the screenshots will not work unless I have the account barcode to go with them
    Previously they did work by themselves
