Samsung S23 Ultra

Can anyone explain why the price for the S23 Ultra has jumped up so much. Held off until s24u was released. This deal was £30 a month and £149 upfront. Do we expect this to come back down. Really disappointed that I waited. Any ideas?

Samsung's focus is now the S24 and, importantly, achieving high early sales so the S23 has been priced to make the S24 deals more attractive.

Also, in the run up to the launch of the S24, stocks of the S23 have been run down so there is now a smaller supply of these handsets which will also have the effect of pushing up it's price.

My guess would be that by increasing the price of the S23 contracts, so that they are closer to the price of the S24, will make people think the S24 is a good deal and encourage people to pay the extra cost to get a newer model, rather than paying slightly less for the older model.

Well, I spoke to a customer service assistant from mobile phones direct and she advised me to wait a bit and those deals or similar deals are sure to.be around again.. she said they can change up to 3 times a day...and said to keep an eye open.... So... Finger crossed
