Family holiday suggestions

Hi. We've been planning and saving for a family holiday for a couple of years now and this is the year it's going to happen! We are two adults, and three kids aged 8, 6 and 4.

We love the idea of an all inclusive holiday including transfers to take the pressure off. And it'd be fantastic to go somewhere that isn't too trashy but still has facilities for the kids (pool with slides, kids club, etc). It would be lovely to have a room that sleeps all of us rather than two separate rooms. We're planning on going first week in May for 7 days but that's not set in stone and can change based on flights and prices etc. I'm not a fan of over-crowded places so I'm aware there's a bit of compromise needed on my behalf!

Has anyone been on something similar that they can recommend? Our budget is £2,500 so am hoping we can get something pretty decent! Thanks!!

Might be worth checking out onthebeach.co.uk as you can search for all-inclusive, maybe tick the 5 star TripAdvisor and 5/4 star hotels and see what comes back with the dates you have. We've never done all inclusive as we've always liked villa holidays, but we're thinking about doing it with some friends this year.

If we've gone all-inclusive we've always gone with TUI/First choice and they've been great. Maybe a bit more expensive though.

We’ve done all inclusive to Fuerteventura last year. I’d recommend Jet2 as they offer free child places. Some companies only offer the free places to certain destinations though. All inclusive is more expensive but can work out better value when you have a few kids

You can't really beat Tenerife, just do a little research where the hotel is.

The top end of Costa adeje just before la caleta is nice and quiet with decent hotels.

Have a look at easyjet holidays. Some really good all inclusive holidays at good prices.
    Well worth a look.

We went to Menorca on our first family holiday last year. Was good, and not too warm that I was constantly paranoid about kids getting burnt

    Where did you go ?
We went to cala galdana in a villa in 2017 and rented a car and have been back every year since and no where else.
If you know the right places to go its a beautiful island.
Did you go to any of the off the track beaches such as cala mitjana, cala macarella, cala macarelleta, cala en turqueta ? (edited)

I’d also recommend Jet2 - loads of free child places and if you go AI you’ll get everything included. We always love going to the Greek Islands, but they won’t be the hottest in May but should be warm enough for the kids. Pools and sea may not have warmed up by then though.
For a bit more heat, you could try the Canary Islands, Lanzarote is nice for families.

Consider Turkey. Very very good value for money. I went in late April early May last year and weather was nice. Use Loveholidays to browse but don't book through them. There's an option in their search to just enter the whole month which will give you best price across your date possibilities. Personally I'd book my own flights for best travel times and use reserving.com for good prices on hotels and excellent customer service. For early May examples are 5 star all inclusive packages ( flights enteredas Gatwick as don't know your near airport) starting per week at about £1500 including factoring in a private car transfer each way. Have a look.

That was with adjoining family room. Usually two rooms with shared bathroom in between not just next to each other. (edited)
